Barry grew up in CINCINNATI OHIO, he did his own beading and wrap jewelry since high school and took professional courses in metal smiting later in life. He has always loved designing and has designed interiors – landscaping – fine art – graphics – video media and packaging. Barry is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. He has been creating collectable gems for over twenty years. His background in design, architecture and art supports the unique perspective presented in his innovative jewelry collections. Barry is a part time resident of Hong Kong and travels extensively throughout Asia in search of the finest antiquities, pearls and rare gemstones. His fine jewelry collection is currently distributed through Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus it the US. Barry’s Philosophy, regarding the creative process, is to source the unusual and then design and construct each item in the same manner as one would frame a fine work of art.
